Compost Designers
Information for teachers
This resource has been created for teachers of years 5 class to develop design and technologies processes and production skills.
The objective of the resource is to provide learning opportunities for students to examine how people design and use technologies to address sustainable practices and environments for future use.
Students will examine design opportunities and materials to achieve intended solutions to excess food waste in their school by analysing what processes and procedures are required to build an effective school compost system.
